Welcome to the Bangor Bass website.

Bangor Bass is one of Maine's newest and largest Bass federated clubs in the state of Maine. We have a membership of 20+ and are currently looking for new members to come join us in the fun and excitement around the great sport of bass fishing and preservation.

The club hosts approximately 10 bass tournaments a year on many different lakes and rivers in the Central Maine area. Check out the tournament schedule section of the website to view some of the places we fish.

Fishing teams are structured with a permanent partner, team scenario. This is a great opportunity to fish with a skilled fishermen throughout the season and learn each others strengths and weaknesses. The club sends the top anglers each year to compete in the state fish off held throughout the state.

We hold an annual open fund-raising tournament to raise money for the Maine Youth Fish & Game Association.

2009 will be the fourth year the club will also be putting on youth events to promote the sport of bass fishing to Maine kids. This year we will be hosting two Casting Kids events to be held at the Sportsman Show in Orono along with the boat show at the Bangor Auditorium in March. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at the Weathervane restaurant on Wilson Street in Brewer. Meetings begin at 7pm.
