Welcome to the Bangor Bass website.

Bangor Bass is one of Maine's newest and largest Bass federated clubs in the state of Maine. We have a membership of nearly 40 including 2 youth members.

The club hosts approximately 10 bass tournaments a year on many different lakes and rivers in the Central Maine area. Check out the tournament schedule section of the website to view some of the places we fish.

Fishing teams are structured with a permanent partner, team scenario. This is a great opportunity to fish with a skilled fishermen throughout the season and learn each others strengths and weaknesses. The club sends the top anglers each year to compete in the state fish off held throughout the state.

We hold an annual open fundraising tournament to raise money for the Maine Youth Fish & Game Association.

This will be the third year the club will also be hosting a youth event. This years Casting Kids event held at the Bangor Auditorium on March 7, 8 & 9 2008 produced several winners that will be going forward to the state competitons to be held at a later date. Our meetings are held the second Monday of the month at the Weathervane restaurant on Wilson Street in Brewer. Meetings begin at 7pm.
